CHANDAK GROUP AND AKSHAYA PATRA
As a part of Christmas celebrations every year, Chandak Group and its employees take an initiative to become Santa Clauses for bringing smiles to Children and Senior Citizens across the city. This is done in collaboration with Akshay Patra Foundation and by partnering with NGO’s to provide groceries, school supplies, and other essential items. Like every year, this year we partnered with eight NGO’s and brought joy to 611 lives. With this we have made a difference to a total of 1,773 lives over 5 years.
MAHESHWARI BHAVAN - OSHIWARA LINK ROAD AND BHAYANDER
Chandak Group has contributed in the construction of Maheshwari Bhawan, which is used by the public to host various events like wedding, seminars etc. at a subsidized cost.
MAHARASHTRA APANG UNNATI SEVA SANSTHA
At Maharashtra Apang Unnati Seva Sanstha Chandak Group supports the physically handicapped and persons with mental disabilities. Chandak Group has also funded the treatment of cancer patients through the Sanstha.
GANDHI PEACE FOUNDATION
Through the Gandhi Peace Foundation, Chandak Group provides funds to purchase books for students.
VOLUNTEERING AT AKSHAYA PATRA KITCHEN
Chandak Group has funded the construction and sustenance of the Akshaya Patra Kitchen at Bikaner. The kitchen provides mid-day meals to students from nearby schools. Chandak Group employees also visited the Akshaya Patra kitchen at their Thane facility to understand the process of preparing these meals.
Spreading Smiles On Christmas with Chandak Group & Akshay Patra
During the Christmas 2022 week, our team in association with Akshay Patra visited a Thane Municipal School and gifted 320 underprivileged School Students with everyday school essentials for their daily school routine. Last year we had brought smiles to 250 School going kids, this year we were happy to bring smiles to even more School Students.
